LightArt isn’t just about manufacturing lighting products, it’s about changing the way you see lighting.
From the humble beginnings of their home kitchen to the 35,000 sq ft studio space in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood, Ryan Smith and Ahna Holder began building LightArt in 2005. With their experience and background in architecture, they used resin to create large-scale, one-of-a-kind light fixtures.
Though the volume of work has increased, the foundation remains the same: To make high quality light fixtures using unique materials, assembled by hand with locally sourced parts. This singular approach gives LightArt the ability to control quality and detail to every project produced.
